About me

I’ve been a freelance translator since 2013, translating German and English for translation agencies and companies in Italy and Germany.

I specialise in the translation of technical-scientific and marketing texts and subtitling. I regularly attend training and refresher courses in these areas to provide my customers with professional, accurate service.

Some of my most recent courses in the medical sphere:

  • Modules: Vital Signs; The Clinical Unit and Bedside Environment; Diseases and Related Abbreviations; Commonly Abbreviated Laboratory Tests and Diagnosis Procedures; Administration of Medications and Intravenous Fluids.

Principles of Medical Translation, from English to Italian. Organized by a-STW.

  • Modules: pharmaceutical products, regulatory documents, clinical studies and patient documents, medical devices.

The Language of Medicine. Knowledge and tools for translators of medical texts. Organized by AITI Emilia-Romagna.

I have attended two courses to further my knowledge in the technical aspects of audiovisual translation:

  • Professional Level Subtitling. Organized by DIT (Department of Interpretation and Translation), Forlì.
